This was a timely podcast for me as I am recovering from a recurrent back problem. I am a trainer, avid learner, and a distance runner and your symptoms and pain progression was something I thought about in the back of my mind as I sought professional treatment. I read on professional websites, such as mayo clinic, to contact a professional if your back pain has lasted longer than such and such period. I ended up contacting Chris Johnson or Zeren PT after a physical therapist recommended pain injections-prolotherapy or PrP. Chris Johnson kindly wrote me back and did a phone consult for me when I questioned my physical therapists recommendations. I thankfully did not pursue injections. I am currently seeing a chiropractor and have been for about 5 weeks. AFter listening to your podcast I decided it is time to stop treatments–ART and SI manipulations, and do what I already knew..slowly increasing my movement, running, training to not overload as healing occurs. My problem is probably soft tissue, deep lower spinal ligament. Anyhow, thanks for putting this out there! sincerely, nicole yosmali, NSCA, CPT, MA.
Chris is a huge asset and great friend! Glad to hear you are on the path to recovery.

Osteophytes, etc. it started with excruciating pain digging line a knife into my groin buttocks outer thigh. All that dissipated but I’m left with a stiff sore low back. Pains in my fro shin hip.
Have had both hips. Replaced looking forward to hearing what you can share
